Today, 80% of the world’s population use herbal medicine in some form or another. Dr. Paris will review the most commonly taken herbal supplements, their indications, contraindications, drug interactions and effects on clinical Dentistry and Dental Hygiene. In addition, she will review details regarding use and effectiveness of other homeopathic practices including essential oil use and oil pulling. The information gained from this presentation should assist the dentist and dental hygienist in the daily management and education of their patients.
