Oral Pathology Update

Course Info

In addition to reviewing the steps necessary for a thorough head and neck exam, Dr. Paris will present current technologies and methods for evaluating and identifying the most commonly occurring oral lesions. She will also discuss the appropriate referral and/or follow-up treatment for each.

What I will learn?

  • Adequately complete step-by-step extra-oral and intra-oral head and neck examinations.
  • Be familiar with and able to identify the top 20 oral lesions.
  • Understand the pathology and recognize the appearance, formulate a differential diagnosis, and create a treatment plan (including referral if necessary).
